Dominic Wild, Dentist
B.Ch.D, MFGDP (UK), GDC No.73259
I qualified from the University of Leeds in 1997 and spent four years working in Yorkshire before returning home to Warwickshire in 2001. I provide all aspects of dental care, and in particular I have a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Recently I joined the team at Changing Faces® in Knowle as head of restorative dentistry, so I get to see those patients who require restorations such as crowns, bridges and veneers. I also see patients who have joined our Denplan care scheme, to help ensure their teeth and gums remain in tip-top condition.
I have recently been building on my experience with continuing education. I am currently in the final year of my Masters degree in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Warwick – I chose this qualification to ensure that I’m well suited for the provision of complex restorative treatments and in particular restorations involving the use of dental implants.
I work in conjunction with Changing Faces® Dentist Marcus Gambroudes on numerous implant cases; by offering a team approach with both an implant dentist and a restorative dentist in complex rehabilitation cases, our patients can count on the best levels of care and expertise.
I have developed an informative and relaxing chairside manner, which helps the many nervous patients we see at Changing Faces® to gain the courage to receive the best possible treatment. By working closely with our Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Simon Smart, I also offer treatment under sedation. This helps take away some of the anxiety that phobic patients can experience, by using sedative medication to help them relax during dental procedures.
I was awarded membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons by examination in 2000.
