Preet Bhogal, Specialist Orthodontist
BDS MFDS RCS (Eng) MOrth RCS (Edin) MPhil(Orthodontics), GDC No.78057
I’m listed within the Specialist Register of the General Dental Council and therefore fully entitled to use the term “Specialist Orthodontist,” by recognising that I have followed the highest standards of training possibly available for orthodontics in the UK. This training began in 2000, shortly after I graduated from the Dental Hospital in Birmingham, the same year I won the Walpole-Day Prize in Orthodontics. I then decided to undertake several positions involving Paediatric Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Treatment under Sedation and Oral Surgery. I have also continued to work in general dental practice developing my skills. Along the way I obtained my Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, an advanced dental post-graduate qualification.
It was in 2005 I decided to begin training as a specialist in orthodontics and went on to obtain my Masters in Orthodontics. In 2008 I achieved Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
As you would expect I am very interested in the provision of adult orthodontics, particularly in the use of aesthetic orthodontics, including lingual braces (such as Incognito), Invisalign and Quick Straight Teeth.
I’m married to Dominika, our clinic’s Orthodontic Therapist. Many of the patients who choose to have orthodontic treatment at Changing Faces will be treated by us both and will benefit from the unique understanding we have of the way each of us works.
